Just released in the last few days there is now an application powered by the team behind ClickandBuy for transferring money between facebook friends.  Although with the recent launch the maximum amount transferable is small, if it's a hit the amount is sure to be increased.  Current transactions in Dollars and Euro are free while all other currencies incur a 5% conversion rate - Sterling is set to be free too in the next few weeks.  The only major sting in the tail is that there are fees incurred in any currency if you wish to transfer the money received from facebook to your bank account.   The team here at www facebook co uk are keeping a close eye on how this develops and wonder if the inception of an ebay type selling platform is in the wings.
