Alistair Darling announcement in yesterdays budget that the tax on cider will be increased by 10% plus inflation has sparked the fightback by a newly created facebook group: Leave our cider alone!  The group has already attracted more than 12,000 members who are against this tax rise which will come into effect this Sunday.
