This week a large number of Facebook users where greeted with a Chinese version of the social network or shown error messages stating the site was unavailable. For some reason one of the internet's main DNS servers routed some Facebook traffic to China, giving the user an experience of what it is actually like behind Chinas very strict firewall. Reports show that this DNS hack has now been corrected and all facebook traffic should be routing correctly. |
